      The Model 800 Magnetic Fluid Conditioner is designed to treat calcium scale and corrosion in residential, commercial and light industrial plumbing or wherever hard water problems exist. GMX controls the negative effects of hard water on plumbing systems and appliances.
      The Model 800 is a component in the magnetic fluid conditioning system custom designed by our authorized GMX independent Distributor for your specific application. Your GMX system will always consist of multiple units. Booster units may be recommended for individual appliances, water heaters, or as necessary for effective treatment.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1.       We recommend installation of your GMX system on your incoming cold water line downstream or after any pumps, filters, or any other turbulence causing devices.
2.       Install GMX units on non-ferrous pipe only, such as copper, pvc or stainless steel. Applications where galvanized or iron pipe is present, a section at least 18" long must be removed and replaced with a non-ferrous material.
3.       Place all units so that the GMX labels face the same direction and arrows follow the fluid flow.
4.       Attach units according to the illustration. The back plate may be reversed to accommodate smaller pipes. Fasten wing nuts hand tight only; do not bend backing plate. APPLICATIONS
